Gorky Max – The Namesake with Many Avatars
Usually it is easy to write a few lines to introduce a person be it someone you know for years or met just once. I have had the opportunity to interact with Gorky and was indulged in a conversation that was like watching a kaleidoscope where every turn in the conversation brought a new facet of Gorky to fore. I had to keep interrupting him or giving him words for I was in danger of being hypnotized into a world that was fascinating just like the imagery he creates with the camera, he did with words.
An English Literature major has absolute command over what he speaks and I for one was bowled over not just with what he had to say but the journey he, his wife Gul Khan and her best friend have had in being accomplished directors to now being producers of three running shows on Indian Television.
The three part interview will perhaps have the sun peek through the cloud, to shed light on Gorky, around whom mystery doth shroud.

oho oho oho…….what a beautiful interview of Gorky……Vrushali di is amazing with her words……and Gorky my oh my….thank u soo much for those wonderful clicks of Maaneet/Gurti! They are definitely memorable pictures which will always be left close to many of our hearts!!
As they say, when u do what u love to do the most, ur tiredness washes away….and despite being soo tired that night, he clicked away…..as he has a passion for camera work….and thanks to his passion and love for his work in photography…..today we ALL Maaneetians are left with some beautiful pictures from our favorite show, from our favorite stars Gurti.

Agreed Ishi….in just hearing this interview he seems like a MAN with a very MAGNETIC personality!! Something about his words…keep drawing you in. He speaks of so much detail of photography, something I know so little of…yet I am not bored. Go figure!!
