This gets even more difficult; to talk about Gorky the director, his wife Gul Khan and his friend Nissar Parvez. But the picture that emerges from our conversation are friends who have an understanding that allows them to share and overlap space where they work in tandem and as separate entity. Not a small feat for their work and home spheres are intertwined. As individuals each has achieved success in their field, as directors and yet when they come together they know their limits, they define their roles as part of 4 Lions Films and as friends. A tough thing to do admits Gorky but isn’t that a lesson one can learn from them that business and pleasure can mix together.

A cocktail made with distinct flavors, shaken but not stirred is how I perceive their relationship. Learn more about Gorky, the Director; another facet in the kaleidoscope, another Avataar for you to explore. The more you get to know him, the more you want to know. To me he comes across as a devoted husband, a loyal friend and a conscientious colleague where debates are healthy, space for individual opinions is not stealthy and a friendship that one can very well say is wealthy.
