Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon: Episode Analysis and Symbolism

So finally the Raizada Clan is here at the Gupta Residence to ask for their Daughter’s hand in Marriage, Yes we all wish that it was ASR who came in to ask for Khushi’s hand in Marriage, but that would be a bit too simple right??? ASR aur KKG ki love story-culminating into a Marriage should have something hatke about it, really historic. So i am sure we all can wait….

Well we all know that Khushi loves her sister and she has done possibly everything making sure that her sister gets to spend the rest of her life with the man she loves, the result of which the Raizada family is here today asking Payal’s hand in Marriage for Aakash.

Now that the Raizada’s were at the Entrance of the Gupta Residence, it does not leave any options for Evil Spawn Shyam other than to flee….which he does ever so gracefully. Its terrifies Shyam when he finds out that the Raizada’s were there with a Proposal, that of getting Payal’s hand in marriage for Aakash. As said earlier anything built on the foundation of dishonesty and lies, ultimately shatters , no matter what, and here we see that fear in Shyam’s eyes, the fear of his intelligent plan crumbling before his very own eyes, Does he stand a chance once this alliance is fixed? No ! Being the Son-In-Law of the Raizada family, he is expected to be there at every ceremony. According to the Gupta’s he is their to be son in law, which makes things the more harder for him….Shyam has to come up with some extra brilliant super duper cheap plan to make sure that his motive of lying hands on Khushi needs to be fulfilled, not that he will be successful with ASR around yet bolne mein kya jaatha hai…right??? Well shyam tries to make it out of the Gupta Residence Via Window, before somebody catches him, but the window wouln’t budge….Kya Timimg hai….

Like daughter, like Mother, the first thing that Garima said when Nani Proposed this alliance was the difference between their status, their background etc, Well had it not been for Nani and Mamaji, Mamiji would have made the sarcastic one liners and insults more caustic.

Amidst all this family drama, it was a treat to watch Khushi Serve ASR tea, and the million dollar worth Eye-lock. Wonder when these two would realize, and admit to one another about their feelings, their love…all the unspoken emotions . The Kitchen Seq was cute, typical Khushi-Arnav type.

According to the new promo thats’ out, Khushi slaps Shyam after knowing that he is married to Anjali, her lines were, “Shaadi Shuda hokar bhi, aapne humse rishta rakhna chaha”? Is it possible that Shyaam’s actual identity, will be revealed within this week??? Say somebody sees him at the Gupta residence??? or will it be Shashi who does the honors of exposing Shyaam??? Khushi’s Bauji has seen Anjali at the Temple, when he was on Mission Shyaam, as shown in the precap will him recognizing her act as a shock in itself, releasing him from the paralytic shock he is in right now? Will he identify her, and revel his findings? Why does ASR want to apologize to Payal, and why does he hold himself responsible for the Marriage is breaking up???

Looks like its a wait and watch for the viewers of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon……
