There are some very strong personalities in the Indian Television Industry that do not need a detailed introduction, just mentioning their names is enough to recognize or associate them with what work they have done. These strong personalities leave such an immense impact on the minds of some of today’s youth so that they follow into their footsteps. Such influential personalities have the power to give you a new lease on life, but if you take one wrong step then your life could be shattered to pieces. This talented personality I am about to mention can make or break your life, especially if you dare to step into the television industry, and she is none other then Ekta Kapoor. Ekta Kapoor, the Queen of the Indian Telly world, started her career at a very young age, and she continues to rule the channels with her shows.
Ekta Kapoor is one name that inspires many people of this industry and this is visible in her work even if others refuse to accept it. We all know her very well through the masterpieces she has created starting from Hum Paanch to Kkusum, to Kasturi, and many more. Her recent shows that are currently on air include Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Jodha Akbar, Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi, Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar, Ajeeb Dastan Hai Yeh, and Kumkum Bhagya. She knows the taste of the Indian audience very well and this is evident by her shows being massive hits in the Indian television industry.
Ekta has introduced many wonderful couples in this industry, which many of us adored and miss today: Angad Kripa, Sujal Kashish, Kavya Anjali, Prem Heer, Jay Bani, Kkusum Abhay, Robbie Kasturi, Prerna Rishabh, Tulsi Mihir, and many more. The couples from her recent shows include Raman Ishita, RV Ishani, Vikram Shobha, Akbar Jodha, Abhi Pragya, and Ragini Neil. The hearts of Indian audience have been swayed greatly by these couples with each of them having huge fan followings.
Ekta has the power to make your life or break your life as I mentioned before but not because she is some goddess or anything, but because of her style of work. Working under her production is one great achievement in and of itself. Many wish to join her or work under her guidance. Once you get a chance to work with her, it is better not take panga (to not mess) with her otherwise you will struggle in this industry. She has some rules and if you really want to be successful in this industry then its best you follow her rules. If you do that once and get successful working under Balaji Telefilms then you don’t need to struggle much to rule in this industry. I know many will not agree with me, but yes that’s the truth of this time.
Ekta knows how to present the issues of a woman in this society. Her work is remarkable; she rules the industry because of the sheer quality of the content she delivers. From her heroines to vamps, women in society can associate with them all. When the female audience watches these female characters on TV, they can relate to them and feel as if they are living a similar life in reality. The characters in her shows are portrayed to be strong and weak in their own way, meaning they have flaws that make them somewhat realistic; as a result more relatable. They give us inspiration to fight with our issues, preventing us from making any mistakes, becoming victims or getting caught in some problems. It’s up to us on how we could implement these tactics in real life.
Ekta’s concepts, stories, main leads, or vamps are not the only reason why she rules the industry, but rather it is because of each and every substance she adds to her productions. She was always my inspiration from the day I started watching Kkusum and from then on each and every concept of hers has inspired me like no other. We want everyone to know that Ekta Kapoor rules this industry and entertains her audience with her quality work forever.
